Maleno Lighthouse Playhouse at Liberty Park
After many months of hard work, the lighthouse playhouse, so generously gifted to the Port Authority by Maleno is finally complete! Standing tall at 14’ wide by 17’ tall this new playhouse is an exciting new addition to Liberty Park just in time for ERIEBANK 8 Great Tuesdays. The new lighthouse playhouse is a perfect fit for Liberty Park with its already nautical themed playground, and water centered community.

The Builder’s Association of Northwest Pennsylvania announced on Saturday the winner of their 2018 Award of Excellence for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.
Erie-based Maleno Builders, Inc. won the award for construction practices that keep their homeowners comfortable all-year-round and reduce energy expenses by hundreds of dollars every year.
500 Shoeboxes Packed for Operation Christmas Child
In November 2018, the Maleno Real Estate and Property Management teams set a goal of filling & packing 500 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. With the help of our customers, family, and friends, we succeeded.
Maleno Participates in McDowell Homecoming Parade
In Millcreek Township, PA, hundreds lined the streets for McDowell High School's annual Homecoming Parade. The parade began promptly at 5:30 pm, north on Homestead, across W 27th St and south on Caughery Rd. This year, the parade was led by the Millcreek Township Superintendents and included the Homecoming couples from last year and this year. Maleno was proud to participate in the middle of the pack with two of our trucks, 12 employees, and several employees' children--who had a ball throwing candy from the backs of the trucks! We even had biscuits for our furry "friends".
Maleno Adventure Woods Anniversary Celebration
Research shows us that many of the fundamental tasks that children must achieve, such as, exploring, risk-taking, fine and gross motor development and the absorption of vast amounts of basic knowledge, can be most effectively learned though outdoor play.1This was one of the drivers behind the Erie Zoo asking for a natural play area last year.

Local Businesses Support the Maleno Family to Family Fund
The Greater Erie Board of Realtors recently hosted its annual charity golf tournament, which resulted in a donation of over $15,000 for the Maleno Family to Family Fund, helping support local families in the community with home improvement needs.
The event was held at the beautiful and scenic Lake Shore Country Club on June 21, 2018.
