3rd Annual Maleno Block Party

Maleno promised  "bigger and better" for their 3rd Annual Block Party and they delivered!  The block party is one of the ways Maleno Property Management shows their appreciation to the residents within their apartment communities.

"Knowing that people have a choice in where they live, we are excited to host events throughout the year to thank residents for making their home in a Maleno apartment community", said Natalie Washburn, Property Manager. With the expansion of activities and attendance, the Annual Block Party has grown to be the premier event of the year.

The first block party started with a table of ice cream sundaes and has grown to become the blockbuster enjoyed by all last evening!  Nearly 200 people from Lake View Apartments, Scenery Hills Apartments, Shadow Pines Apartments, and The Village on Pacific enjoyed mouth-watering, good food from The Cluck Truk and refreshing ice cream and gelato from JEB Concessions.  There was a lively and long line of Limbo contestants while talented Tony B DJ Productions rocked the music. Impressing all the guests were several young hula hoop finalists who made it look easy while keeping their hoops spinning for over five minutes.  We think the winner could have gone on for hours!

Helping all the kids to look spectacular was the genuine artistry of Face Painting by Connie. Her new bus was packed all evening long with princesses, action characters, and fantasy figures!

In addition, there were corn hole games and CAN-JAM play, chalk drawing, an ambulance & paramedics from Millcreek Paramedics, and a full table of free books from our Little Free Library stock. Residents happily went home with an armload of good reading.

While the food and activities were highly enjoyable, the highlight of Maleno events is the socialization that goes on.  People from within their own community and across the four communities come together to catch up with each other and to make new friends.

In order to have a "Golden Ticket" to this event, one must be a Maleno Community resident.  Something to consider when thinking about a rental home...
