2021 GEBOR Charity Golf Tournament Success

Erie, PA -- A charity golf tournament benefiting the Maleno Family to Family Fund, a non-profit supporting local families, was played on Monday, June 21st. The event raised $15,000 thanks to the donations of players, sponsors, and supporters. The check presentation took place Friday, July 26th at the Greater Erie Board of Realtors^® (GEBOR) offices.

All proceeds will support building and renovation projects withinin the community, through the Maleno Family to Family Fund. The fund was established by the Maleno family to support building and renovation projects for Erie families and neighborhoods in need.  This year, they've formed a new partnership with the SSJ Neighborhood Network to bring home improvement projects to the Erie community.

The annual tournament, sponsored by the GEBOR was held at the Lake Shore Country Club.  There was an hour break in play during a cloudburst of rain, but all-in-all it was a fun and exciting day!

Since its inception in 2009, the Maleno Family to Family Fund has helped over 40 local families with roofing, plumbing, concrete and flooring, wheelchair ramps and more.
