Sherrod Family - W 17th St

Trelane Sherrod, a recently divorced single mom, supports her military veteran son and grandson.  The family experienced a set-back with multiple, large medical bills along with multiple emergency home and car repairs.  Trelane's income allowed her to keep up with the basic bills and food, but she was unable to put money aside for critical home repairs.

A few of the repairs undertaken by the Maleno Family to Family Fund included:  repointing & flashing the chimney to fix a water leak that caused interior water damage, addressing bathroom plumbing issues, repairing kitchen ceiling damage caused by bathroom plumbing issues overhead, replacing the broken kitchen counter, replacing the broken front window, and painting the front porch.

When the work was done, Trelane was able to take pride in her home and breathe a little easier.
