Helen Cyparski
Helen is a 77-year-old widow who was married for 35 years to Tom, who passed away suddenly in 2014. She is also Mom to two children, a son, and daughter. Helen cares for her 55-year-old son, John, who has special needs and is unable to work outside the home. He belongs to "Club Erie" through the Barber Center and attends daily via Lift pick up. Helen is also a grandmother of 11 girls and great-grandmother to 11 grandkids.
Tom always took care of the house, painting, repair work, and yard work. Since his passing, Helen has been taking care of as much as she is able, along with help from family when necessary. Her budge is so tight that she did not have the funds for the new roof, her primary concern. Helen has "never had to ask for help before, but didn't know where else to turn". All taken care of, Helen!
